C30 Energy Gel FAQs
What is the consistency of C30 Energy Gels?
C30 Energy Gels are more like a thick liquid than a paste like many other gels. This allows you to consume them easily with or without water.
Are C30 Gels A Sticky Paste Like Other Brands I've Tried?
No. Our C30 Gels have a low viscosity meaning they flow easily when you need maximum intake and minimum mess. Perfect for mid-race, run or hike, you can tear open the top and easily consume. No need to chase with water, those 30g of carbs will sit easy on your stomach and give you maximum performance.
How much sodium is in each gel?
We formulate our C30 gels with 200mg of sodium per serve. This allows for more rapid fluid absorption and retention. Every athlete sweats at different rates, and therefore the amount of salt loss can vary per hour. We've chosen precisely 200mg sodium formulation to give athletes fast-absorbing fuel with a much needed level of salt replenishment - removing the need for additional tablets that can cause stomach issues.
What is the carbohydrate source in C30 Energy Gels?
We use 2:1 maltodextrin-to-fructose. This blend delivers very high oxidation rates (energy for muscles) and very low left in the gut to cause GI distress.
Do C30 gels have caffeine in them?
We only offer caffeine in our C30+ caffeinated energy gels. Our C30 gels do not have caffeine, so are designed to be a staple of your fuelling arsenal. For those moments of boost, then look for a C30+.
Are C30 Energy Gels safe?
All Neversecond products are stringently tested and approved free of banned substances by Informed Sport.
