Banana Ice Cream

A refreshing and healthy dessert that delivers protein, carbs and micro-nutrients.

Racing in the summer heat can take a real toll on the World Tour during repetitive stages of a Grand Tour. EF Pro Cycling Head Nutritionist Will Girling and Head Chef Owen Blandy keep the riders cool and fuelled with a healthy version of Banana Ice Cream.

Servings: 6

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes


  • 8 Ripe Bananas
  • 200g Greek Yogurt (Low-Fat or Full-Fat)
  • Optional Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon or Peanut Butter


  1. Peel, slice and freeze the bananas.
  2. Blend with the Greek Yogurt and freeze.
  3. Remove from freezer and blend again.
  4. Place in freezer again for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve.
  6. Use toppings optionally.
